Full-day tours and overnight experiences (except the private El Yunque tour, below) require a deposit to confirm your date. Because we operate a single private vehicle and turn away other bookings for your day, deposits are non-refundable. Airport and hotel transfers require no deposit — payment is due on the day of service.
Your booking is paid in full when confirmed. You can cancel free of charge, with a 100% refund, up to 24 hours before the tour; with less than 24 hours' notice there is no refund. Tours run in light rain. If the river is closed for safety (official closure or flash-flood alert), we'll let you know before pickup time and you choose: reschedule at no cost within 12 months or a 100% refund. Bookings made through third-party platforms follow that platform's policy.
Shared El Yunque tours are paid in full when you book online. Cancel at least 24 hours before the start time for a full refund; cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. If our partner cancels due to weather, you'll get a new date or a full refund. Your booking is subject to availability confirmation. We'll confirm by WhatsApp or email; if there's no availability, we'll refund 100%.
Puerto Rico's rainforest and coastal areas can experience sudden weather changes. If weather affects a specific stop or activity (for example, river conditions at a swimming spot), your tour proceeds as scheduled with an equally enjoyable alternative substituted for that portion. The full balance applies in this case, as your private vehicle, driver, and the majority of your itinerary remain unaffected.
If severe weather (such as a tropical storm warning or genuinely unsafe conditions) makes your tour impossible, we'll reschedule at no extra cost and your deposit carries over to the new date.
If you need to cancel or change a full-day or overnight booking (other than the private El Yunque tour, covered above) for reasons other than severe weather, message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible. The deposit is non-refundable, but we'll do our best to move you to another available date. Transfers can be cancelled free of charge by messaging us at least 24 hours before pickup.
Bookings made through Viator, GetYourGuide or other partners follow that platform's cancellation policy shown at checkout — a full refund when cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time.
Pasito a Pasito Tours is a licensed private transportation and tour operator based in Puerto Rico, holding an LTS license issued by the Negociado de Transporte y Otros Servicios Públicos (PSC). All Suburban tours and transfers are private — your party is never combined with other travelers.
Reservations are coordinated via WhatsApp and are confirmed once any required deposit is received. Because we operate a single vehicle, availability is limited and dates are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once a deposit is paid.
Many of our tours involve outdoor activities, natural swimming areas, hiking trails, and travel through Puerto Rico's rainforest and coastal regions. These environments carry inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, water conditions, and weather changes. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Pasito a Pasito Tours, its driver, and its operators are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from voluntary participation in these activities, except where caused by our gross negligence.
Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the tour or transfer.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
When you contact us to book a tour or transfer, we collect the information you provide directly — your name, phone number, pickup location, and any details relevant to your reservation. This is typically shared through WhatsApp and is used solely to coordinate and fulfill your booking.
Our website uses Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site (such as which pages are viewed and general navigation patterns) and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools may use cookies and collect anonymized or pseudonymized browsing data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Payments made via credit or debit card are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card information on our own systems. Payments made via Zelle, ATH Móvil, or cash are handled directly between you and Pasito a Pasito Tours and are not processed through any third-party payment platform.
